Patrick Smith is a licensed attorney in the Commonwealth of Kentucky and has practiced with the law firm of Hance & Srinivasan, PLLC, since October 2016. He concentrates his practice in the fields of personal injury, birth injury, medical malpractice, and a wide array of other civil litigation matters.
Patrick is a lifelong resident of Louisville, Kentucky. He graduated from St. Xavier High School in 2006 with honors. In 2010, he earned his Bachelor’s degree from the University of Louisville in Political Science with a minor in Economics and graduated summa cum laude. While attending the University of Louisville, he was active in the Honors Program and as a Harlan Scholar. He was also the 2009 recipient of the Louis C. Kesselman Award in Political Science and the 2010 recipient of the Jean and Eleanor O’Sullivan Award in Political Science.
Upon completion of his undergraduate studies, Patrick chose to attend the Brandeis School of Law at the University of Louisville. He served as both a member of and as an Articles Editor for the University of Louisville Law Review. Additionally, he was invited to join the Brandeis Society. During his third year of law school, Patrick was selected to serve as a pupil in the 2012-2013 Louis D. Brandeis Inn of Court. He graduated cum laude from the law school in 2013.
In his spare time, Patrick enjoys playing sports, reading, and spending time with his family and friends.
